The Ancient mtDNA Database (AmtDB) was created and is maintained by a team around Dr. Edvard Ehler at the Laboratory of Genomics and Bioinformatics, Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic in collaboration with the group of Dr. Anna Juras at the Laboratory of Ancient DNA, Institute of Human Biology & Evolution, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.
